- 1 tbsp rice vinegar
- 1/2 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp sesame oil

- sesame seeds

How the chicken should look post frying
The sauce is ready for the chicken when it thickens up and bubbles
Instructions:
- Cut chicken into bite size pieces
- Mix together flour, 1/4 cup cornstarch, baking powder, and baking soda
- Whisk the egg white until foamy and then add to dry mixture with 1/2 cup ice cold water
- Stir mixture until smooth batter forms
- Drop chicken into batter
- Heat oil at medium high for frying in a deep yet small saucepan to avoid the need for excess oil
- When oil seems ready, place one drop of batter in, if it sizzles and floats oil is hot enough, if not wait and repeat
- In batches fry chicken until golden, be careful not to crowd the pan to avoid pieces sticking together
- Set fried chicken on paper towel to drain excess oil
- Once all chicken is fried, obtain a large sauté pan and add a spoonful or two of frying oil and heat on low medium
- In a bowl, combine honey, 1/3 cup water, rice vinegar, ketchup, sesame oil, salt and garlic powder; stir
- Mix 1 tablespoon cornstarch with a little cold water and once completely mixed add to bowl with honey mixture
- Add honey mixture to pan and let reduce for about 5 minutes until thick
- Toss chicken in pan with honey mixture
- Sprinkle in sesame seeds
- Make sure chicken gets completely coated and let cook on low for 5 more minutes
- Serve with rice and/or broccoli and top chicken with green onions and more sesame seeds to taste
- Enjoy ❤
Note: While you can make extra, I find that anything fried is never as good the next day so I recommend eating day of making
