Hey I'm Grace,
welcome to my life
Scientist. Grad Student. NYC dweller. 21 year old.
These are all titles I gained in 2020.
2020 was a turbulent year for everyone. For me it included getting into grad school, turning 21, graduating from college, moving from Georgia to New York City, and starting the long process of earning my PhD in biochemistry – all during the mess of a global pandemic.
2021 was the year of adjustment. I settled into life as a PhD student in New York. I laid down roots in my home, in my friendships, in my relationship, and in my career. I am still adjusting to this wild ride of life but I can now say I feel more at home in this city and path I have chosen.
Now 2022 is here and I am excited to see what it brings. Come along with me
